수동식 소화기를 비치하는 것은 초기 화재(즉, 주위의 온도가 섭씨 65도<이것은 스프링클러가 작동 되는 온도이며, 화재가 발생되였다는
증거 입니다>진압용 임을 선결 조건으로 생각하면,
수동식 소화기가 고온에서 견디 거나, 섭씨 100도 이상 혹은 과중한
압력 또는 충격압력(뭐 소화기로 무기로 쓴다면 할 수 없지만, 소화기에 무슨 놈의 충격이 가하여 진다고 가정을 하여, 튼튼하게 만듭니까?

이유 1.: 폴리카보네이트에 대한 불신 및 무지와 내압을 견디지 못한다는 막연한 생각으로, 내용물이 보이는 소화기가 있어면 좋겠다는 생각은 가지고 있고(또, 실제로 창달린 소화기, 속 보이는 소화기 등을 개발 하였고), 그동안 많은 사람들이 개발 노력하였으나, 내압을 견디는 투명/누드 플라스틱을 찾지 못하였음. 이유 2: 소화기 신규 판매 시장의 한계(현재 년간 3백만개의 년생산을 약 10개 회사에서 영세하게 제조 판매하고 있으며)와 전국에서 사기치고 다니는 소화기 충약업자들의 횡포에 눌려 새로운 소화기 개발 의사의 상실 (지금 까지 원가 이하의 가격인 개당 11,000원에 3.3kg소화기를 청계천 및 전국의 소방 설비 가게에 판매하고 있었음으로 적자 운영에 시달리고 있음) 이유 3. 소화기 충약 업자들은 사기 행위인 소화기 충약을 그냥 가져다가 뼁끼칠 만 하여 다시 갖다 주고 소화기 3.3kg 개당 15,000원에 새 것처럼 위장하여 충약 사업을 하기에 신규 소화기는 개당 17,000원 정도에 소매 가격이 정하여져 있는 형태로 그 이상의 가격으로는 충약업자들의 판매 가격인 개당 15,000원과 경쟁할 수가 없었음 이유 4. : 현재 소화기 메이커 전부는 그동안의 적자 운영으로 사업 폐쇄를 검토하고 있는 실정으로, 그 현실을 다음과 같음 1. 삼우 산기㈜-SW소화기(년 생산 능력 60만개로 우리나라에서 제일 큰 소화기 메이커) 본인과 삼우 정형로사장(018-398-6002)은 고려 대학교 동문으로 약 4년 전부터 같이 개발하자고 꾸준히 접촉하고 있으나 상기 이유로 개발의사 포기하였음 2. 기타, 분말 소화기 메이커들, tyco마린(구 신평 소방), 국제 소화기 정충래 사장, 신우 전자 이기원사장, 미래 소방, 영진 소방(부산 본사, 당진 공장), 대구 한국 소방 등등과 지난 약 3년간 접촉하여 왔으나, 상기 이유로 포기 하였음 3. 일반 스프레이 소화기 메이커들, 퍼펙트 코리아(윤욱력 사장010-9842-0119)를 제외하고는, 파이어 앤 텍(화성시 소재), 부산의 스프레이 소화기 메이커들도 꾸준히 접촉하였으나 포기함. 4. 폴리카보네이트 물병 및 생수통 제조업자들과의 개발 추진 노력도 소화기에 대한 무지와 소화기 시장에 대한 불신으로 전부 포기하였음 1) 생수통 메이커: 클로바 상사, 대동 화학, 성진 화학 등등도 접촉 결과 포기 2) 록앤록, 타파웨어등 폴리카보네이트 물병 제조회사와도 접촉결과 포기 3) 기타 영세한, 물병 제조 업자들, 누리 플라스틱, 구일 화학, 등등도 포기
